Meridian Operator Systems · Both Marketplaces

Both marketplaces, run properly.

Two complete operator systems in one download — Amazon and Walmart — built separately because they are separate businesses, and priced together because most sellers eventually run both.

The problem

The second marketplace is where the first playbook stops working.

Four differences account for most of the damage when a seller copies one setup across to the other.

Walmart approves sellers, not just listings

An application is assessed, can be refused, and is harder to fix on the second attempt. Amazon has no equivalent gate.

The fee stacks are not comparable

Referral, fulfilment and storage behave differently on each platform. A product that clears on one can be underwater on the other at the same sale price.

Fulfilment obligations differ

WFS, seller-fulfilled and 3PL each carry different delivery promises on Walmart, and missing them shows up as performance defects rather than as cost.

Performance standards are enforced, not negotiated

Walmart's thresholds are applied to the account. Recovery after a warning is slower than suspension.

Operations

Two systems, built the same way.

Each carries its own blueprint, master workbook, databases and staged plans, and each opens with its own dashboard. They share a method — model the economics before committing stock, then work the sequence — and nothing else.

Neither depends on the other. Buy the pair if you will run both; buy one if you will not.

Job economics

Two workbooks, eighty sheets, five databases.

Amazon brings a 38-sheet workbook and a 33-sheet 3PL intelligence database with quote normalisation. Walmart brings a 42-sheet workbook, 76 SOPs, three databases and a Command Deck of 29 stage gates in clearing order.

Fee rates and programme rules change on both platforms. The systems teach the models and hand you the calculators; verify current figures with each marketplace before relying on a number.

Miles' Reality Check

Things to consider before you start.

Which one first

Amazon, if you are choosing. Walmart assesses sellers on the application, and an existing operating history makes that a stronger case.

Both are capital businesses

Stock is paid for months before it sells, on both platforms. Each workbook models how much and when, because that is where sellers actually fail — not on product selection.

Good fit / bad fit

A good fit if you will genuinely run both channels. A poor fit if you only want one — buy that system on its own, because this bundle is not the cheaper route to a single marketplace.

Questions

Before you buy.

Is this cheaper than buying one?

No. One system is $39. This is $59 for both, saving $19 against buying them separately. If you only intend to sell on one marketplace, buy that one.

Do I need to work them at the same time?

No, and you probably should not. Work Amazon first unless you have a reason not to — Walmart assesses sellers on their application, and an operating history strengthens it.

Is the Walmart system just the Amazon one rewritten?

No. Different approval process, fee structure, fulfilment options and performance standards, with a 42-sheet workbook and 76 SOPs built for that marketplace. The overlap is method, not content.

What do the labs or tools require?

Nothing to install. Word documents, Excel workbooks and two offline dashboard pages that index them. No account, no subscription, no internet connection needed to use them.

Will the fee figures stay current?

No — they change. Both systems teach the model and give you the calculators, and both say to verify current rates with the marketplace before relying on any output.
